Exploring the Limits of Life in Extreme Environments

PhD Research in Astrobiology, Microbial Evolution, and Planetary Habitability

PhD Candidate | University of Illinois Chicago

My research investigates how microbial life adapts to extreme and dynamic environments, from high-pressure laboratory systems to hydrothermal ecosystems in Yellowstone. By combining experimental evolution and environmental microbiology, I aim to understand the limits of life and inform the search for habitability beyond Earth.
